Enjoy this light and fresh salad any time. Great as an appetizer or a cleansing dish after your main course.
Approx. 4 oz washed field greens
2 ripe pears, diced
½ cup toasted walnuts
2 oz crumbled gorgonzola cheese
2 T balsamic vinegar
2 T extra virgin olive oil
Pinch of salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
- In a large bowls, toss together ingredients with salad tongs.
- Arrange on a large platter, or shallow bowl. Serve immediately.
