Overnight Chocolate Chia Oatmeal
(Dr. Amy’s current favorite breakfast delight!)
1/2 cup water or milk of choice (almond milk is nice)
1 tsp chia seeds
1/4 cup rolled oats
2 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
6 oz container (about 1/2 cup) Greek style vanilla yogurt (or plain)
pinch of sea salt or Himalayan pink salt
pinch of stevia (or sweetener of choice – if you use plain yogurt, you will definitely want to add some sweetness)
Mix all of the ingredients well in a jar and place in the fridge overnight. In the morning, slice a banana on top and eat!
